We are seeking dedicated, compassionate Medical Assistants to support our specialized teams in Cardiology, Cardiothoracic, and Heart Failure across Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Estero. Whether you are an experienced Medical Assistant or a recent graduate of an accredited medical assisting program, this is an opportunity to grow your skills while supporting patients and providers in a collaborative healthcare environment.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate carefrom preparing patients for appointments and performing clinical procedures to supporting specialized cardiovascular services.
Cardiology Supporting Heart Health
Assist providers in caring for patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions, helping ensure a positive experience throughout their treatment and follow-up visits.
🫀 Cardiothoracic Specialized Cardiovascular Care
Support clinical teams caring for patients with complex heart and chest conditions through patient preparation, clinical assistance, and accurate documentation.
💙 Heart Failure Compassionate, Ongoing Care
Help support patients managing heart failure through clinical assessments, patient education, follow-up visits, and coordinated care under provider supervision.
📍 Multiple Locations: Opportunities available in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Estero, Florida.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a team-based medical practice.
Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians and physician assistants with minor procedures.
Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing and process laboratory specimens.
Administer medications under appropriate provider supervision and according to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Safely operate clinical equipment and maintain clean, organized patient care areas.
Collect, document, and communicate accurate patient information and maintain medical records.
Provide patient instructions and assist with prescription and information requests.
Support efficient clinical workflows while prioritizing patient safety and confidentiality.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Medical Assisting Education: Completion of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred.
Experience: Medical Assistant experience preferred, but not required for recent graduates of accredited programs completed within the past two years. One year of recent clinical experience in a physicians office or hospital outpatient department, within the past four years, may be accepted in lieu of an accredited medical assisting credential.
Certification: CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification preferred.
BLS: American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required within the first 90 days of hire.
Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology, strong communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.
