The Application Analyst Digital Patient Applications is a key resource for the Information Systems Department responsible for addressing the strategic, tactical, and technical Information Technology (IT) needs of patient applications in all operational areas as well as providing oversight and management of projects and production support. Responsible for the maintenance and support of assigned systems within the organization such as Epic the Electronic Health Record Systems, CRM, and communication platforms, etc. Serves as a subject matter expert on assigned project teams and department initiatives, develops test scripts, conducts testing, and supports application upgrades and project go lives.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize application & analytical skills to design, build, and test solutions to meet the needs of the organization based on experience and input from vendors, customers, and team members.
- Work with other Information Systems leaders to create processes and procedures to maintain integrated workflows at Lee Health
- Support and refine existing processes and documentation within areas of oversight to ensure communication and maintainability amongst team members
- Effectively communicate status and updates with leaders, peers and end users
- Prepare and execute functional system and program specifications using structured methodology.
- Coordinates the system implementation, updates, and fixes with the patient community, ensuring satisfactory results.
- Other duties deemed necessary to the success of the team, department, or organization
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required. May accept 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience working on IT projects
- Experience working with software applications
- Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
