The Advanced Device Technician is responsible for supporting the organizations endpoint desktop computing environment and specialty computing environment such as required in Radiology, Cardiology, and Telehealth. Advanced Device Technicians are responsible for installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware equipment to ensure optimal performance. Resolutions are provided in accordance to our Service Level Agreements and departmental practices. Campus level projects require the ability to analyze, plan, design and implement new endpoint computer systems, monitors as well as completing upgrades to software and hardware of existing computer systems. Position may be required to work with users to determine their specifications for computer hardware and software needs. Must possess a general understanding of PowerShell and comprehend Active Directory groups in order to support and maintain user account information including access rights, security and systems groups. Accurately maintaining computer equipment and specialty equipment in hardware asset tracking system is a must.
Requirements
Education:Bachelors degree required. May consider 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Experience:Minimum of five years of hardware builds and deployments. Minimum of five years of related customer service experience. ServiceNow ITSM experience preferred.

Other:Excellent communication skills. A clean drivers license is required for use of Lee Health System vehicles.
Preferred qualifications include experience supporting Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) environments and an understanding of diagnostic imaging workflows within a healthcare setting. Familiarity with diagnosticgrade display systems, such as Barco monitors or radiology tables, is desired. Candidates with handson technical or mechanical aptitudeparticularly in supporting disc publishing and media equipment such as Rimage systems and associated printerswill be well suited for this role. Experience providing technical support for sleep study systems, EEG/EMG units, or other neurodiagnostic equipment is a plus, along with working knowledge of HP Z Workstation platforms used in clinical imaging environments. Additional preferred experience includes supporting dictation systems and microphone hardware used in clinical documentation workflows; familiarity with PowerShell scripting for basic automation and administrative tasks; and experience with SCCM and/or MDT for workstation imaging and deployment. Candidates with working knowledge of the ServiceNow Configuration Item (CI) module for asset tracking, experience managing hardware inventories and coordinating equipment transfers between healthcare locations, and familiarity with hardware decommissioning processesincluding secure data handling and compliant equipment disposalare strongly preferred.
