Description:
Are you a caring professional with a positive, can-do attitude who will strive to provide first-class customer service? We are looking for someone with flexible availability who is able to work weekends as well as week days, as needed. Standard work days are Saturdays and Sundays, as well as variable week days based on coverage needs for the department.
Performs PBX / Switchboard operator duties which include; answering all internal and external calls coming in to the hospital's switchboard. Overhead paging all emergency codes accurately and timely, overhead paging administrators, physicians, and internal staff members or visitors, paging on call staff according to department or on call schedule, using department scripts and protocols for all paging and codes.
