Job Summary
The Radiology IS Advanced Application Analyst (PACS / VNA / Image Exchange / RIS) responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Serves as key IS Analyst responsible for managing and supporting Image Exchange solutions
- Responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the VNA image storage system and related projects
- Possesses expert level knowledge of VNA architecture and workflows, including DICOM / Non-DICOM image type storage and image linking to EHR
- Participates in building, testing, supporting, and implementation efforts related to PACS, RIS, Powerscribe, and other related diagnostic imaging systems
- Possesses expert level knowledge of clinical systems applications, imaging workflows and integrations
- Independently, or with oversight, leads and coordinates medium and small projects for new system implementations or system upgrades, as designated responsible for managing and meeting project timeline, budget and quality parameters
- Active participant in radiology systems on-call rotation
- Conducts training for all supported applications as needed
- Must be willing and able to make onsite visits and provide onsite support as needed/directed
- Coordinate and collaborate with external vendors, identified end users, and internal IS staff to effectively manage and support clinical imaging systems
Additional Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of working in an Integrated Radiology Imaging Environment (RIS, PACS, VNA, Image Exchange Solutions)
- Demonstrated Project Leadership experience
- Critical Thinking Skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and on concurrent multidisciplinary projects
Additional Experience Preferences:
- Epic Radiant experience and/or certification
- Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging Clinical background
- FUJI PACS experience
- Nuance Powerscribe / PowerShare / Modlink
- Ambra
- Datcard VIE
