The Staffing Resource Center (SRC) is seeking students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed fundamentals and have one year left to graduate. This position offers the opportunity to gain additional hands-on clinical experience. We offer competitive pay, flexible self-scheduling and a shift differential.
You will be placed on a single nursing unit for the duration of your initial orientation. After successfully completing the initial orientation, you will be required to float to multiple hospitals and units providing a unique opportunity for building strong relationships throughout Lee Health. You will be exposed to a variety of clinical experiences as part of the elite SRC Team. Reliable transportation is required.
6 Week Scheduling Guidelines:
Must float to all four hospital campuses as need requires
All shifts must be 12 hour shifts. May not work more than 5 shifts in a row, with the exception of disaster situations.
6 (12 hour) shifts per 6 week scheduling period is the minimum required. At least 1 shift must be scheduled every other week. 3 (12 hour) shifts must be on a weekend with 2 (12 hour) shift on a Saturday or Sunday.

Provides patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health and social needs, comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid and elimination needs.

Enrolled as a Nursing Student in an accredited Nursing program.
The student must have completed the foundations or fundamentals semester of their nursing program. Student will provide an official transcript to Recruitment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
A competency skills checklist appropriate to the job description will be given to the applicant by Human Resources Recruitment. Applicant should complete this form and bring to manager interview, in order that manager can discuss future orientation needs.
Communication, interpersonal, basic computer, and customer service skills are required. Demonstrates a working knowledge of medical terminology.
