As an OR Scheduler for our Orthopedics department, youll play a vital role in ensuring surgical procedures are coordinated smoothly and accurately. You will:
Partner closely with orthopedic providers and clinical teams
Build strong working relationships to ensure seamless workflows
Coordinate and schedule surgical cases with precision
Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and hospital partners
Maintain high accuracy in a busy, high-volume environment
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of healthcare experience required
Medical-based scheduling experience strongly preferred (1 year)
Excellent multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
Work within a reputable and high-performing Orthopedics specialty team
Contribute to exceptional patient care through accurate surgical coordination

Clerical position, responsible for effective scheduling, coding, verifying insurance and/or obtaining necessary pre-certification/authorization for surgical procedures, utilizing computer scheduling software in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Interacts with physicians, patients, families and department staff to meet identified needs.
