Description:
Provides meal delivery, menu selection and nutritional care services to the patient population. Compiles and maintains accurate records and information for use in preparing patient menus. Processes menus, nourishment and tube feeding needs. Maintains and updates patient preferences and special requests on the computer. Obtains appropriate menu selection. Transports food delivery carts to and from department to assigned nursing units. Collaborates with the clinical dietitian and nursing staff to identify those patients at nutritional risk and / or need for possible nutritional intervention.
