Director of Nursing - Rehab Hospital at Lee Health
Conveniently located inside Lee Memorial Hospital, the Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to rebuilding lives and renewing hope. Our 60 Bed Rehab Hospital provides thorough, professional and modern treatments for Neurological and Orthopedic injuries as well as emotional support to help in patient’s recovery.
Patient Diagnoses treated includes: Stroke, Neurological Disorder, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputation, Trauma Injuries and Orthopedic conditions. Patients receive at least three hours of therapy each day, in an upbeat, team-oriented, family and patient centered environment.
The Rehab Hospital is accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Hospitals (CARF) for adults and children 8 and above. The Rehab Hospital holds a specialty certification in stroke and brain injury management for adults. In addition to this, the Rehab Hospital has been designated a “Center of Excellence” by the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA) for the adult population – the first of its kind in the Nation.
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the daily operations of the nursing process that includes: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. This position work closely with the Medical Director of the Rehab Hospital.
This position will work with a multidisciplinary team that includes Physicians, Advanced Providers, Psychologists, Therapists and Care Managers.
The ideal Candidate will be a Master’s prepared RN with at least 3 years of leadership, preferably in a Rehabilitation sitting.
