Job Summary

Summary:

The Resident Development Specialist (RDS) supports the clinical, social, and professional development of nurse residents for the first two years of their employment. The RDS supports the goals of the nurse residency and Relias Assessment program by providing a structured approach to monitoring and guiding nurse residents to meet their individualized education and development plan. The RDS will be responsible for tracking and documenting the outcome measures of residents on all campuses, in conjunction with Clinical Education Specialist for Relias Program. Collaborates with HR Business Partners, HR Recruiters, Nursing Leadership, and others, to promote recruitment and retention of newly licensed nurses. Responsible for the development of curriculum and facilitating the residency learning classroom modules to promote the formal and informal education of residents during the development period.

Additional Requirements
