Coordinates and directs the activities of supervisory and system staff providing cafeteria, catering, patient care and physician lounge services. Plans / implements programs, products, meal delivery and special events designed to improve and enhance LMHS staff's morale. Ensures that resources, systems, and processes are consistent at all system acute and long term care facilities. Meets with clients to confirm desired timeframes and review costs. Provides oversight to staff assigned to produce the event, serve the customers, or provide appropriate care. Coordinates menus, staging needs with appropriate personnel to ensure that the event stays within the agreed fiscal limit and the product provided meets departmental quality standards. Ensures that all parties are clear on expectations. Follows up with clientele to confirm needs and outcomes.
