Lee Physician Group consists of more than 600 primary and specialty care physicians/advanced providers at 79 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. In this position you are responsible for successful operation of the practice including, but not limited to the following: proactive patient schedule management, provider and staff engagement, exceptional patient experience, financial performance and billing compliance. You are expected to develop and foster a collegial relationship with and among employed physicians and staff, create operational plans, budgets and tactics, and to lead in a manner which promotes teamwork and reflects the mission and values of Lee Health.
 
Requirements:
 

  •         Bachelor’s in healthcare, business administration or related field required or commensurate education and experience, MHA/MBA preferred.
  •         Minimum of five years Supervisory/Management experience required for Director opportunities and two years Supervisory/Management experience required for Manager opportunities.
  •         Certification as a Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) strongly desired.
  •         Knowledge of ambulatory care; background in clinic procedures including schedule management, registration, use of electronic medical record, patient flow, billing and referrals and authorizations.
  •         Knowledge in business and clinical operations, as well as strategic planning experience
  •         Computer proficiency including knowledge of Microsoft Office software and in-depth knowledge of electronic medical record and billing software applications.
  •         Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary.
  •         Must have superb interpersonal skills and be able to handle difficult conversations effectively. Demonstrate ability to listen well and gain consensus.
  •         Experience in planning and execution.
  •         Knowledge of negotiations and change leadership.
  •         Must have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  •         Able to express opinions openly and honestly and provide feedback in a timely and productive manner.
  •         Ability to examine and re-engineer operations and procedures.
  •         Strong budget, financial and statistical analysis skills and ability to interpret information to staff and providers.
  •         Demonstrated flexibility to accommodate changes in workload assignments and react calmly and effectively in stressful situations.
  •         Ability to work independently and set priorities under minimal supervision.
  •         Ability to work within the defined values, mission and vision of the organization.
     

Requirements:

Education: Associate’s degree in management or related field and two to four years of management experience, preferably in a practice setting; or commensurate education and experience. Bachelor’s degree and/or ACMPE certification strongly preferred. Experience: Knowledge of ambulatory care operations; background in clinic procedures including schedule management, patient registration, use of electronic health record, patient flow, billing and referrals and authorizations. Computer proficiency including word-processing and spreadsheet applications and knowledge of electronic health record and billing software applications. Excellent written and oral communications skills necessary. Must have superb interpersonal skills and be able to handle difficult conversations effectively. Able to express opinions openly and honestly and provide feedback in a timely and productive manner. Ability to examine and re-engineer operations and workflows and report operational metrics to staff and providers. Must have experience with creating budgets and communicating financial information to staff and providers. Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate changes in workload assignments and react calmly and effectively in stressful situations.
