The Pediatric Specialties team at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida (GCHSWF) is seeking an addition of a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to meet the needs of the children in our community. MEDICAL DIRECTOR to lead new service line and non-leadership physician positions are available. The Gastroenterologist will contribute to building GI services to include Metabolic Clinic, Short Bowel Program and Fecal Transplant Program, to achieve our goal of “Delivering the Right Care at the Right Place.” This objective is aligned with Lee Health’s mission to create positive change within our children, their families and ultimately our community.
The ideal candidate will have extensive training in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition, including medical research and treatment of infants, children, and teens with digestive, liver, and nutritional disorders. As well, candidate will possess Certification in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics, and in Gastroenterology and Nutrition from the American Board of Pediatrics Sub-board in Pediatric Gastroenterology. The Pediatric Gastroenterologist will be practicing both in the office setting and hospital with call responsibility.
