The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for the coordination of client care services as an active member of the interdisciplinary team in an Outpatient setting.

Pediatric experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy experience. This position will be located in an outpatient office in Fort Myers.

Job Duties:
Provides assessment, treatment, group and individual therapy, support services, and discharge planning. Develops, in conjunction with clinical team, an individualized treatment plan to address modalities and interventions needed by the client and significant others to support recovery. Facilitates group psychotherapies, which enhances the client’s coping abilities that are essential to the active treatment of the client’s primary condition as indicated on the treatment plan in the form of specific goals and objections. Supports the therapeutic milieu and demonstrates ability to assess and interpret age/disability information related to client populations served, including the chronically mentally ill, geriatric, chemically dependant, and children & adolescents. 09/2013


Education: Must hold a Masters degree in a Social Work Experience: Must have at least one (1) year previous experience in one of the mental health populations served. Training: Shall maintain CEU requirements for license renewal, CPI and CPR certification and complete other educational requirements as assigned and/or needed to increase skill level License: Requires a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida Other:Must maintain CPR and CPI certificates. Must have good time and organizational skills. Must be capable of coordinating multifaceted workload. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have in depth knowledge of clinical therapy modalities. Must demonstrate knowledge of the normal principles of growth and development, be able to assess and interpret both cultural and Age/Disability specific intervention into effective treatment planning in areas of chronic mental illness, geriatric, children and adolescent, and chemical dependency populations. Must be flexible and able to perform in stressful situations. 09/2013
