Description:

Assists Manager as necessary to oversee child care operations, including child care ratios. Is knowledgeable of licensing codes and assures they are being upheld, assumes responsibility of the Manager during his/her absence. Functions as a Child Care Assistant as needed and assists employees with their daily activities. Is responsible for clerical and financial job duties within the department. In addition, the Lead Child Care Assistant assists the Manager with the scheduling, timekeeping, quality assurance and workflow monitoring of the department. Functions as a resource person to both staff and families. Provides input to Manager on job performance of employees.

Requirements:

Education: CDA or Associates in Early Childhood Experience: One year child care setting and previous clerical or secretarial experience required Training: Previous child care training with working knowledge of Early Childhood Development License: None required Other: Expert intrapersonal and communication skills. Ability to work and plan with caregivers in a team setting.
