As the Health Economics Project Manager leading the actuarial efforts for Vivida Health’s PSN business and Best Care Collaborative ACO business, this key contributor will be responsible for helping to build a Medicaid plan and ACO that help members lead healthier, more secure lives. As a provider-led organization, we do this by creating personalized, differentiated, and more effective care solutions throughout the patient care continuum. Through this integrated delivery model, Vivida Health and Best Care Collaborative desire to continue to perform as high-performing entities. The Health Economics Project Manager/Actuary will partner with our members, providers and leadership to achieve this lofty goal. Vivida Health offers an MMA PSN in Region 8. Success in this role will largely be determined by the Health Economics Project Manager/Actuary’s ability to develop an innovative and solution-oriented analytics strategy for Vivida Health and Best Care Collaborative across its markets.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
Additional Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business analytics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or another related field
  • 8 Years of experience in leading actuarial and health economics projects for the following lines of business: Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and/or Large Group Employer.
  • Experience with programming and data tools such as SAS, R, Python
State of Florida Licensure Requirements
  • none
Certifications/Registration Requirements
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries, preferred

  • Creative problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to drive multiple projects
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, assess risk and make recommendations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
  • Knowledge of analytics methodologies including risk adjustment models, e.g. CMS HCC, CDPS, Symmetry, and episode analysis tools such as 3M and Symmetry
  • Strong ability to lead initiatives with minimal guidance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
