Description:

The Director, Quality management function oversees, coordinates, and implements new and existing healthcare quality improvement initiatives and educational programs. The Director ensures continuity of programs for members in accordance with prescribed quality standards; directs data collection and review, reports and monitors for key performance improvement activities; and provides direction and implementation of NCQA accreditation surveys along with federal and state (AHCA) QI compliance activities.

  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience, including at least 4 years in health plan quality improvement
  • 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting
  • 2 years Medicaid experience
  • 2 years experience in quality management/improvement in a health care setting
  • 2 years work experience in a managed care environment
  • Operational knowledge and experience with Office including Excel, Microsoft Visio
  • NCQA Accreditation experience

Educational Requirements
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
Preferred:
  • Master's degree in health services administration or equivalent
