At Lee Health, we know that exceptional care starts with exceptional support. As a Customer Service Representative in our Medical Equipment Solutions department, you will play a vital role behind the scenes, helping patients and families get the medical equipment they need when they need it.
This position is phone-based and focuses on processing incoming orders, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring patients feel supported from their very first call. You will work in a collaborative, cubicle-based team environment with leaders who value your growth, offer structured training, and celebrate your contributions.
What You Will Do
Manage incoming orders received through CarePort, Parachute Health, and faxes from providers.
Provide support to patients, families, and providers for initial orders and refills.
Verify insurance guidelines and process authorizations when needed.
Schedule equipment deliveries and confirm invoice bill-outs.
Accurately handle data entry and order fulfillment using the Brightree operating system.
Function as an intake specialist, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and patient-centered service.
Work closely with a supportive team in a structured, process-driven setting.
What We Are Looking For
Previous medical field experience is strongly preferred.
Customer service skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced workflow.
Familiarity with insurance guidelines and medical terminology.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and data entry skills.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) candidates highly preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or GED Required.
Experience: Less than 1 Year Clerical/Administrative required. Insurance/Customer Service preferred.
Certification:BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required in Employee Health and may also be required at other locations within 90 days of hire.
License: N/A
Other: Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, IT/computer proficient, basic math, knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing helpful.
