This role is responsible for system wide active contract management functions. Must have previous experience with contracts/legal work and/or project management.
Provides direct support of the physician contracting operational process. Under the direction of the Manager, Physician Contracting the role assists in management of the digital contract management platforms. Supports the contract request process though Legal Services. Maintain timelines necessary to assist in the success of physician contracting operations. The role will support process improvement efforts and compliance with policies and procedures in place governing physician contracting. Candidates should have superior communications skills. They will be responsible for ongoing communication with Physician Candidates and Physician Groups with which contracts are pending. The ideal candidate will have the ability to present to Senior Leaders and provide education on key processes to the Management Team.
KEY FUNCTIONS OF ROLE:
1.Executes requests to draft employed and independent physician agreements to meet the needs of respective service lines.
2.Works with the Director of Physician Compensation and Legal Services to create contract checklists and review contract drafts for accuracy of terms and conditions as requested.
3.Assists in the operational process by tracking timelines and deadlines necessary to the success of physician contracting goals and maintain physician contracting project list.
4.Maintains the system wide Physician Contract Management Database via Meditract and successfully data-mines contracts to support compliance with terms and conditions.
5.Provides support to the Medical Director timesheet process via Ludi DocTime.
6.Partner with Marketing and Operations in support of the Physician/Provider online profile process to ensure accuracy and consistency in profile creation.
7.Supports processes in place to ensure contract compliance and identify potential areas of risk.
8.Assists with offer generation for potential physician candidates including drafting LOIs and providing appropriate contract documents to physicians under supervision of Manager.
9.Communicate with key stakeholders the statuses of signed agreements and ensure that those stakeholders a provided the documents and information needed for their respective files.
Paralegal experience preferred.
