Lee Health is seeking an experienced RN for their Clinical Outcomes Improvement Specialist opportunity. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of clinical experience and quality and regulatory standards program management is preferred.
Medical Staff Quality Clinical Outcomes Improvement Specialist participates in the collegial system wide Medical Staff Quality Program. This position promotes medical staff participation within a system-wide culture of safety. The MSQ Clinical Outcomes Improvement Specialist utilizes critical thinking, problem solving, and functions as appropriate in the role of clinician, teacher, researcher, and leader. Key components of this role include: Co-facilitation of the medical staff peer review process and campus specific Medical Staff Quality Committees Collection and aggregation of data related to Medical Staff Quality as defined by regulatory requirements Catalyst for integration of Clinical Processes of Care into clinicians daily work routine Representative / Presenter of quality data at campus Facility Quality Monthly meetings Facilitation of initial /ongoing physician performance feedback reports Participation on cause analysis teams for serious safety/precursor events The MSQ Clinical Outcomes Improvement Specialist collaborates with other professional disciplines to promote quality and safety through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques. The MSQ Clinical Outcomes Improvement Specialist supports the organization's vision and mission and is guided by the Practice Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
