As the Clinical Education Specialist, you will be responsible for the support of clinical practice and education excellence for Lee Health. This position is a member of a system or corporate support team that provides consultation for system wide leadership and other performance improvement committees to provide evidence based practice solutions to enhance clinical nursing-inter-professional proactive, competence, patient safety, quality of care, patient and employee engagement and clinical outcomes.

This position provides expertise in comprehensive needs, analysis, problem delineation, identification of solutions/interventions/education to fill identified gaps. Is outcome oriented, demonstrates knowledge of evaluating the outcomes of interventions/education by pre and post measurement and ability to show return on investment.

Position focuses on leading the system wide competency assessment program. Supports all regulatory requirements by assuring education and competency needs are identified and solutions provided.

Supports all departmental programs, functions, and services as needed to provide education and development for all employees in the health system.

A minimum of five years experience in an approved specialty area in the acute care setting and a minimum of five years experience in designing, developing and evaluating education programs in an acute care setting.

Additional Requirements
