Child life specialist will provide evidence-based, developmentally appropriate interventions including therapeutic play, preparation and education to enhance understanding and reduce fear, anxiety and pain for children in the hospital setting. They will collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to develop and execute an individualized plan of care for the patients. Educate staff and the community about the developmental needs of hospitalized children and family centered care.
