Works under the direction of the Director Child Advocacy Program to implement child passenger safety programming as established by the department. Provides education for parents in Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida regarding appropriate child safety seats for children in their family, as well as other issues regarding unintentional injury prevention. Acts as a liaison with community groups involved in unintentional injury prevention. Attends Community health fairs/events as determined by supervisor, to distribute injury prevention information. Serves as a resource for public relations regarding media requests for injury prevention information.
