If you have at least 1 year of recent/current CNA experience in a hospital or long term care/skilled nursing facility you could be eligible for a $1,000 Sign-on Bonus! New grads are eligible for a $500 Sign-on Bonus!
*This applies to Full-Time Night shift positions at at the following locations: Cape Coral Hospital Gulf Coast Medical Center Lee Memorial Hospital, Health Park Medical Center, Golisano Children's Hospital and the Rehabilitation Hospital.!

CNA's provide patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health, social needs, comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid and elimination needs. May have access to and transport non-controlled medications as directed.
REQUIRED FOR INTERVIEW:
If you have recently moved from another state and have an active CNA certification, you must apply to the State of Florida Board of Nursing for FL certification. During this time while you are awaiting receipt of the Florida certification, you may be allowed to work for 120 days under reciprocity. Please refer to FL Board of Nursing Website: http://floridasnursing.gov/ for information on certification requirements.
Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Completion of a State Approved CNA Education Program required (with at least 120 hours of academic studies and clinical training; 165 hours preferred in Acute Care).
Experience: Previous CNA work experience preferred; or new graduate CNA with clinical training.
Training: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; This certification must be current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
License: Current Florida CNA Certification; or a CNA certification active in another state which is transferrable to obtain Florida certification under reciprocity. Other: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required; knowledge of medical terminology.
