Cape Coral Hospital is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants / CNA for Full Time, Part Time, 1st and 3rd shifts. Work three (3) 12 hour night shifts per week, every other weekend, and earn a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

You may quality for a SIGN ON BONUS for full time positions for both new grads ($500) and experienced CNAs ($1,000), if eligible.

·Proof of acurrentAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Providercertification which does not expire within the next 90 days.

If you have recently moved from another state and have an active CNA certification, you must apply to the State of Florida Board of Nursing for FL certification. During this time while you are awaiting receipt of the Florida certification, you may be allowed to work for 120 days under reciprocity. Please refer to FL Board of Nursing Website: for information on certification requirements.

The CNA provides patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health, social needs, comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid and elimination needs. May have access to and transport non-controlled medications as directed.

Completion of a State Approved, CNA Education Program required (with at least 120 hours of academic studies and clinical training; 165 hours preferred in Acute Care).
