Advanced Application Analyst MS SharePoint and Business Applications

The Advanced Application Analyst MS SharePoint and Business Applications is a key resource for the Information Systems Department. The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for supporting and managing the Lee Health Sharepoint platform by managing sites and accounts, including site configuration, custom features deployment, bandwidth monitoring, managing space, maintaining backups, and monthly application patches. This role could expand to include administration of additional business applications as workload and time permit. 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

-Utilize advanced application & analytical skills to design, build, and test solutions to meet the needs of the organization based on experience and input from vendors, customers, and team members, including MS SharePoint and future business applications

-Support and refine existing processes and documentation within areas of oversight to ensure communication and maintainability amongst team members

-Effectively communicate status and updates with leaders, peers, and end-users

-Prepare and execute functional system and program specifications using a structured methodology

-Coordinates the system implementation, updates, and fixes with the MS SharePoint community, ensuring satisfactory results

-Other duties deemed necessary to the success of the team, department, or organization

-Regular review of the events and messages reported in MS SharePoint

-Regular review, clean-up, management, and configuration of applications access working with application security team members

-Regularly analyzing SharePoint content and storage

-Monitoring application trends (e.g., site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth)


Key Skill and Attribute Requirements:

-SharePoint working knowledge of Central Administration and the PowerShell administration modules

-SharePoint Event Log troubleshooting, search administration and troubleshooting, concepts of a farm, and the planning and implementation of Service Packs and Cumulative Updates

-Experience with MS SharePoint site creation and managing permissions

-Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills

-Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

-Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to work independently and as a team member

-Excellent time management skills

-Flexible and open to change

-Thorough and detail-oriented

-Excellent communication skills
