Shift differential for 7:00 pm - 7:30 am is $6.00 for entire 12 hour shift.
RN with 2 recent years or more of experience is required.
RNs with specialties of ER, ICU, PCU, Med/Tele

Seasonal Benefited FT Program
Seeking Talented & Compassionate Nurses who meet the following criteria:
  • Has a minimum 2 years “recent” Acute Care Experience (Med/Surg, PCU, Telemetry, ICU, ED)
  • Willing to work at least 26 weeks (or six months + 1 day min. for benefits)
  • Willing to float or be reassigned if necessary
Seasonal Full Time staff are eligible for Lee Health benefits such as PTO, Health Insurance, 403B Retirement, etc.
Rate of pay is based on years of experience
Night differential is $6.00 per hour and evening differential is $3.00 per hour

Staff can live in/own property in Lee County with the following stipulations:
1. No monthly incentive/stipend paid if Lee county property owned
2. Cannot be current Lee Health employee or employed with Lee Health within the past 2 years
3. Will work in a “seasonal” position October through June then placed on inactive status and will not be able to work unless hired as FT, PT or PRN position.
4. Seasonal staff are placed on SMO (seasonal months off) when not actively working.
Seasonal Full Time positions start in November.
Seasonal Non-Benefited prn Program
Seeking Talented & Compassionate Nurses who meet the following criteria:
  • Has a minimum 2 years “recent” Acute Care Experience (Med/Surg, PCU, Telemetry, ICU, ED, Rehab, Children’s Area)
  • Willing to float or be reassigned if necessary
PRN employees sign a seasonal agreement stating that they agree to work full time hours (minimum of 36 hours per week) for a predetermined number of consecutive weeks.
Night differential is $6.00 per hour and evening differential is $3.00 per hour.
Can live in/own property in Lee County with the following stipulations:
  • 50% of the incentive/bonus paid to Lee County property owners
  • Cannot be current Lee Health employee or employed with Lee Health within the past 2 years.
* Will work in a “seasonal” position only October through June then placed on inactive status and will not be able to work unless hired as FT, PT or PRN position

Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment// diagnosing// planning// implementation// and evaluation. Performs responsibilities in five areas of nursing practice utilizing critical thinking// management// problem solving and differentiation of urgency in the role of: clinician// teacher// researcher// leadership and professional development. Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Uses knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. The nurse practice is guided by the code of ethics for nurses with interpretative statements.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment. Training: License:Currently licensed or eligible for RN licensure in the State of Florida Other: Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
